The Best Breyer Gift – My Steampunk Breyer Wintersong
Breyer Custom Steampunk Wintersong
This model horse was an overwhelmingly generous gift from my friend and artist, Elayne Watrus. He is a one of a kind Breyer Custom Steampunk Horse on the Wintersong mold. Elayne kept trying to give me a gift horse at BreyerWest but I thought it too generous and I declined. A couple months later, Elayne sent me pictures of some of the customs that she had in progress. Hanging out in the crowd of half finished horses was this amazing Breyer Custom Wintersong. My jaw dropped when I saw him. This was the horse for me! I quickly offered to to purchase the Wintersong and this time Elayne refused.
Instead, she gifted him to me.
Meet Patches
Meet Patches. Underneath, he is the Breyer Wintersong mold but he is completely resculpted and is adorned with gears, screws, nuts and other fabulous fittings. During the creation process of this horse, he started to fall apart. And thus he was nicknamed Patches. You can click any of the pictures to enlarge them.
