Breyer Griffin - 2017 Collector’s Club Special Run Cleveland Bay
Today, Breyer released Griffin, a 2017 Collector’s Club Special Run. He is the Tregoyd Journeyman or Cleveland Bay mold in very pretty chestnut. This big bold mold was sculpted by artist Karen Gerhardt. Grifffin is product number 712227. He is available to current Breyer Collector’s Club Members to purchase from Breyer directly for $65 + $14.50 domestic shipping for a grand total of $79.50. Griffin reminds of the 2008 JC Penney Special Run Breyer 410423 Traditional Series Two Piece Set palomino Cleveland Bay.
However, upon closer inspection Griffin is more different than I first thought. Griffin has a braided mane where as the JC Penney Special Run has a loose mane. Griffin also has darker body shading and a shaded mane and tail. Griffin isn’t as yellow as the JC Penney Special Run. Overall, I really like Griffin and I will be purchasing him. How about you? For those of you opting to not pay for your Breyer Collector’s Club Membership Fee for November and December, I recommend purchasing Griffin ASAP. Breyer Fletcher 2018 Collector’s Club SR & Membership Change
Meet Fletcher. He is one of the Breyer 2018 Collector’s Club Special Runs. He is the Wyatt mold in a gorgeous glossy bay blanket appaloosa. Wyatt was originally sculpted for the Breyer Premier Club by artist Morgen Kilbourne. He is one of my favorite molds to date!
The current regular run on the Wyatt mold is the lovely Babyflo. I look forward to the release of the Breyer Collector’s Club Fletcher 712257.
Along with the introduction of Fletcher, Breyer introduced a new membership renewal date for the Collector’s Club. All Collector’s Club memberships will now renew on January 1st. If you joined the Collector’s Club after January, it seems that Breyer is requiring payment for the months of November and December 2017. The cost is $10 for the last 2 months of 2016. However, Breyer is offering a limited time discount of $5 for November and Decemeber which brings the cost for the remainder of 2017 down to $5. The discount code is CCOCT17. This code needs to be added to your Shopping Cart on Checkout or you will not receive the discount. Alternatively, you can simply not be a Collector’s Club member for November and December 2017 and purchase a Collector’s Club Membership for 2018. Breyer is excited to announce our new Collector Club Membership for 2018. We are changing our membership from a rolling one to a calendar year membership. Going forward, all memberships will end on December 31st, irrespective of when you joined. This new structure will enable us to create unique annual program benefits, as well as making it easier for you to know when your membership is valid and available to renew.
I tried using the discount code last night but it didn’t work for me. I’m hearing that the code is working today and I will try renewing my 2017 / 2018 Collector’s Club Membership later today. Breyer Markus + Sugarmaple + Calaveras

We are disheartened to say that we were informed by Breyer that we will not be receiving, Markus, Sugarmaple or Calaveras. We are beginning to process refunds and encourage any customers who have preordered any of these horses through us to secure them elsewhere. We apologize profusely for the inconvenience. We are very upset that we cannot provide our wonderful customers with these model horses. Rest assured, we are working diligently to fix this issue in the best way possible. We will be emailing or calling everyone with an outstanding order and have made this our top priority. Those who paid directly with a credit card will be issued a credit to the card that was used to make payment. If payment was made by check, you will receive a refund in the form of a check. If payment was made using Paypal, your Paypal account will be credited. If payment was made with cash, you may stop by the store for a cash refund or request that we send a check in the mail.
