2017 Breyer Horse Line Up Shipping Soon! **UPDATED Early Ship Date**

2017 Breyers Shipping By Feb. 13th

The 2017 Breyer Line Up has landed at our distributor and they are racing (okay walking…) our way via a very large freight box. We are very excited to receive these horses. 2017 looks to be a great year for Breyers! We are still waiting for confirmation of which horses are on the way and I will update this post when I have more information. Aside from the 2017 Breyer Traditionals and the 2017 Breyer Classics, we have a herd of Corral Pals coming as well.

Breyer Corral Pals

We still have some 2017 Breyer Presales available. Thank you to everyone that has already secured an order through us. Our distributor confirmed that our entire order was shipped and all of the 2017 Breyers we have listed will soon be in hand.

We expect to have the 2017 Breyer Horses in hand no later than February 13th and quite likely sooner. Please note that your entire order will be held for shipment if you order a Presale along with any in stock horse on the same order. Your entire order will ship as soon as the 2017 Breyers arrive here. We will be vending at BreyerWest in March and will be offering free pickup to attendees.

Breyer Horse Collection Tour – Well Not Quite!

Breyer Horse Collection Tour – Well Not Quite

Breyer Horse Collection Tour

Many have asked us for a Breyer Collection Tour here at Aidan’s Toy Trove! We do plan on offering a video of our personal Breyer Horse Collection. This consists almost entirely of Custom Breyer Horses, some of which are rather famous in the model horse world. Most of them are Breyer Traditional Scale Horses but there are some Classics, Paddock Pals and Stablemates! We have an assortment of Original Finish Breyers that are mostly on the Breyer Proud Arabian Mold. Our Breyer PAM conga includes some rare horses, a sampling of them includes the glossy grey appaloosa, the woodgrain, tenite stickers models, 2 test colors and a nightlight. We own a few assorted Breyer Glossy Prize models that hold sentimental value, most of which were won by myself.

Our shelves are also always full Breyers that are for sale. These shelves are constantly rotating Breyer Horses to reflect what we are currently working on listing. We plan to offer Breyer Videos of the sales horses as well.

But here’s the catcher, our home is filled with Breyer Horses from floor to ceiling. The horses are even taking over the furniture! If anyone can figure out how to breed Breyer Horses, it’s us! I swear some of them seem to magically appear and I have no recollection of where they came from.

This model horse video shows the Ikea cabinets that house my personal collection of horses. It also shows, all the ‘stuff’ that surrounds these cabinets which currently make a Breyer Collection Tour next to impossible.

We weren’t kidding when we said that our house is being overrun by Breyer Horses. If the horses ever revolt, we are in serious trouble! We hope you enjoy this not quite a Breyer Collection Tour video. Consider it a sneak peak of the *real* Breyer Collection Tour Video to come!

None of these horses are not available for sale yet and many of them are not for sale at all as they are part of my person collection. Enjoy and thanks for watching!

Peter Stone Horse Collection Tour Video!

Peter Stone Horse Collection Tour Video

Peter Stone Collection Tour

Aidan’s Toy Trove purchases entire Breyer Collections. Our specialty is Breyer Horses but we on occasion will purchase Peter Stone Horses as well. This video is our Peter Stone Horse Collection Tour! As my knowledge on the lovely Peter Stone Horses is limited. As I have a hard time identifying and pricing them, I have had a small herd of Peter Stone Horses that has grown over the past year.

I am finally getting around to listing our Peter Stone Horses. You can see all of our Peter Stones in this video (at least I HOPE this is all of our Peter Stones!). We have horses on the Ideal Stock Horse, Weanling, Western Pleasure Horse, Performance Horse and the Thoroughbred molds!

To name a few of the Stone Horses, there are: Hickory Chips, Dark Star Rising, Irvine, a number of Design A Horses and a few Stones that still need to be identified.

I’m looking for an ID on the glossy bay ISH and the bay Thoroughbred. Can you help?

If you have a model horse collection to sell, please feel free to contact us by email aidanstoytrove@gmail.com

Breyer Custom Clydesdale by Franceyn Dare – Meet Sampson!

Breyer Custom Clydesdale by Franceyn Dare

Breyer Custom Sampson

A custom Breyer horse is an original finish model horse that has been customized in some way. This can range from a horse that has only been repainted to a Breyer that has been drastically resculpted. Here at Aidan’s Toy Trove, my personal Breyer Collection consists of these uniquely painted and resculpted Breyer model horses.

I received a brand new custom Breyer in the mail. He made his journey all the way to California from Australia! Watch us unbox this brand new Breyer for the very first time. Pay attention to how this horse was packaged, the seller did a spectacular job insuring that the horse would arrive in good shape.

Meet Sampson. He is a moderate to drastic custom on the Paddock Pal Scale Breyer Clydesdale mold mold. Some of you may remember this scale of Breyer as LittleBit. The Breyer Paddock Pal or LittleBit scale is 1:24 scale.

Sampson was customized by the very talented Franceyn Dare in late 2015. I own a number of Franceyn’s pieces and I am continually delighted with the detailing and care she puts into each of her horses. The most drastic changes to the mold include an extended left front leg and a newly sculpted mane, tail and feathers. Sampson has a lot of subtle resculpting to add detailing to the original Breyer Clydesdale mold. See if you can spot any other areas that have been resculpted!

Sampson is painted to one of my favorite colors, a bay sabino pinto! He has a lot of intricate detailing in his white markings. Look closely or you may miss them!

  • Sampson’s video Part 1 shows him being unboxed for the very first time.
  • Sampson’s video Part 2 shows him up close.

Breyer Custom Legendary Model Horse Broken In Shipment – Part 2

Breyer Custom Legendary Model Horse Broken In Shipment – Part 2

Breyer Custom El Oso Valeroso

Aidan’s Toy Trove received a legendary Breyer Custom that was broken in shipment. I hoped to make a Breyer Horse Video featuring him as one of the most amazing Breyer Customs ever. I decided to feature this video as Part 2 of a series. In this episode we share how we pack fragile Breyer Custom Horses for transit to avoid the heartbreak of receiving a damaged horse. As these types of horses are so very hard to pack, there will be at least 1 additional video in the series.

You can see El Oso Valeroso Part 1 Here.

I want to emphasize how hard these types of Breyer Customs are to pack. I am in no way angry at the seller. I am sad that this legendary horse broke in transit but I see this as an opportunity to get his broken leg reinforced and to show how I pack these fragile horses. I’ve received more broken custom Breyer horses in the mail than I care to count. Hopefully at least 1 person will find this series helpful.
