First BreyerFest SR Sneak Peak and Website Woes!

BreyerFest 2017 SR Sneak Peak

Good morning everyone! Breyer posted the very first BreyerFest 2017 Sneak Peak to their BreyerFest Blog. Here is what Breyer has to say about him/her:

I spy with my little eye the first of the Special Run models! Does anyone want to guess who will be kicking off the BreyerFest Gateway to India Special Run line up?

Keep your eyes on the Breyer Blog as we unveil the model soon!

I have no clue who this mold is. Maybe Carrick? What are your thoughts?

We also received our BreyerFest 2017 Tickets in the mail yesterday. Woohoo! I haven’t opened them yet but I will today =D

Also of note, we just migrated our website to a new secure server. Unfortunately, the website is now even slower than it was before. This is the exact opposite of what I hoped would happen. There’s nothing quite like paying for SLOWER service eh? In reality, I think it is a programming issue on our end and I am working to get things sped up. In the mean time, I apologize for the very slow load times 🙁

Breyer Custom Mule by Tiffany Purdy – Pictures and Video

Breyer Custom Mule by Tiffany Purdy

Breyer Custom Spotted Assetts

A custom Breyer horse is an original finish model horse that has been customized in some way. This can range from a horse that has only been repainted to a Breyer that has been drastically resculpted. Here at Aidan’s Toy Trove, my personal Breyer Collection consists of these uniquely painted and resculpted model horses.

Breyer Custom Spotted AssettsBreyer Custom Spotted AssettsToday, I would like to share with you a very unique Breyer Custom Horse. For you longear lovers, you should like this one! Meet Spotted Assetts! He is drastic custom jumping mule that was resculpted from the Breyer Traditional Scale Zippo Pine Bar mold.

He has a customized Breyer Salinero head with big long loveable ears. This amazing Breyer custom was made by Tiffany Purdy. With all of the resculpting that was done, he is one heavy dude! Spotted Assetts stands with the assistance of an acrylic rod base. He has been a very successful halter live show horse for me and he was shown extensively by Tiffany Purdy in performance. He has competed successfully at the national level aka NAN. Spotted Assetts is one horse (or mule) that has done it all!

Aidan's Toy Trove Pony Mountain

Aidan’s Toy Trove purchases entire Breyer Collections and we also carry a variety of regular run New In Box Breyer Horses. Currently, we have over 2,000 Breyers. We run our business entirely from our small 1,100 square foot home.  So where do we keep all the horses?

Prepare to be horrified by what has been dubbed as Aidan’s Toy Trove Pony Mountain. This plastic horse monstrosity lives in the entryway to our home and reaches from floor to vaulted ceiling!

This Breyer Video features a very small sampling of our Breyer Horse inventory. Most, if not all of Aidan’s Toy Trove Pony Mountain consists of New In Box Breyers. Some are current runs, some are retired horses, some are Web Special Runs, some are BreyerFest Special Runs and even I don’t know what else lurks within our Pony Mountain. Be very afraid!

Aidan’s Toy Trove purchases entire Breyer Collections. This Breyer Video features a sampling of our inventory as we unpack a box of Breyer Horses. We tend to try and stick with Traditional Scale horses although when purchasing in bulk, we frequently end up with a variety of Classics, Paddock Pals, Stablemates, Porcelains, Resins and assorted Breyer tack and accessories.

To name a few of the Breyer Horses in this box, there are: Cheveyo, Sundance, Horse Lover’s Country Vet Set Cody, Color Crazy Rejoice, Uncalled For, Justin Morgan, Delilah and Black Gold.

As you can see, there are a wide variety of retired regular runs, BreyerFest Special Runs, Treasure Hunts Models, Web Special Runs and other Special Runs.
