The Website Migration Is Complete

Iszabella Celebrate

The website migration is complete. It was far from painless but thus far everything looks to be working. Friday and the weekend will be the real test when users are logging in and out of the site and browsing around on different pages. We would surely appreciate our users help by navigating around the site and looking for bug. What would REALLY help is if someone would buy something so that we can test the website store. Website sales are officially open, just saying =D

We are aware that there are some old links to Copperfox Tiger Woods and our original The Website is Going DOWN post. I had to recreate these by hand and there are some remnants of the original posts floating around in areas like Related Posts. I’m not going to worry about these 2 minor bugs. I am worried about one plugin in particular that was likely effected during the migration so I will be watching it to see its behavior. Also, we are currently running without a website cache program which will cause a bit slower webpage load times. I will work on installing a new cache program once we have verified that everything else is working correctly but at this point it would probably cause more trouble than good.

We are having high winds here and the power was out last night. We lost part of our fence, yikes! School was cancelled for the day, they called my phone at 5:30am while everyone was still sleeping. Poor Aidan woke up at 8am and dashed around the house getting ready for school. I didn’t wake Aidan up to tell him school was cancelled at 5:30 when the call came, poor panicked little guy!

It’s mighty cold in here without the heat, brrr! We have the space heaters working overtime in anticipation of losing power again later in the day. Our power and internet may be a bit spotty for the rest of the day. I need to go print the shipping labels for today before we lose the internet or the power. I’m not sure if the mail will actually be going out in this hurricane like weather but we’re certainly going to try! Thank you everyone!
