BreyerFest 2017 Birds of Paradise – Silent Auction Test Color

I can’t believe it’s THAT time of year again! Breyer has started to reveal the test colors which will be auctioned at BreyerFest 2017! Today’s reveal was Birds of Paradise. He is the popular Silver mold which was sculpted by Kathleen Moody and is a decorator with a Birds of Paradise theme. At BreyerFest 2016, I was bidding for a friend in the silent auction for an absolutely stunning test color light dapple grey Silver with Carnival Costume. I sweat all over that poor horse and called him mine for all of half of a day before sending him away <sniff>. I have an inkling that I may be a bidding on Birds of Paradise at BreyerFest 2017. We shall see!

To celebrate the Live Auction countdown starting over on Breyer News tomorrow we wanted to share one of our favorite Silent Auction items!

In the office he’s fondly referred to as our “Bird of Paradise” Pegasus test model and was donated by Breyer. This vibrant fellow is on the fan favorite Silver mold (#574), which was introduced in 2001 and sculpted by Kathleen Moody.

We’ll share more of the Silent Auction items over the next few weeks so keep an eye on the Breyer Blog. And make sure you visit the Breyer Booth in the Covered Arena to bid on this colorful guy and all of our other Silent Auction Lots! BreyerFest Madhuri – The Crystal Is the Working Cow Horse!

Today, Breyer revealed the BreyerFest 2017 Special Run Madhuri. Every year, Breyer releases a miniature Crystal version of a Breyer mold. The BreyerFest Crystal is approximately the size of a Breyer LittleBit or Paddock Pal. Madhuri is a small replica of the Working Cow Horse mold.  Madhuri will be available in the BreyerFest 2017 Bazaar aka the popup store.

Breyer 1776 Paint Me a Pepto

The current release on the Working Cow Horse mold is Paint Me a Pepto. The Working Cow Horse mold was sculpted by Morgen Kilbourne .

Morgen also sculpted the Wyatt mold (who’s current release is Babyflo) and the new Premier Club True North mold.

Meet Madhuri!

Madhuri is the BreyerFest Gateway to India crystal model and is based on the Working Cow Horse model (mold 731) originally sculpted by Morgen Kilbourn. Madhuri is named for a legendary Bollywood actress and dancer, Madhuri Dixit.

Breyer Navya – BreyerFest 2017 Clearware Stablemate Friesian!

Meet Navya, the BreyerFest 2017 Stablemate Special Run for the Bazaar Store. Boy does Breyer have a fantastic lineup of special runs this year!

Navya is a stunning clearware on the new Stablemate mold sculpted by Josine Vingerling. He is decorated in soft greens and purples and has a lotus flower on his hips. To top it all off, he has a a high gloss finish.

This is another BreyerFest 2017 Special Run Horse that is on my ‘must have’ list. Breyer you’re killing me!

Meet Navya!

Navya is on Josine Vingerling’s standing Friesian, mold 5729. He is an eye-catching clearware Stablemates model painted in soft purples and greens with a lotus flower on his hips and a high gloss finish.

To top it off, he comes with a purple satin bag with the BreyerFest 2017 Gateway to India logo.

Jaipur the Elephant Plushy A BreyerFest 2017 Special Run!

Meet Jaipur, ANOTHER BreyerFest 2017 plushy! Jaipur is the cutest pink elephant with embroidered details. BreyerFest 2017 is already offering Lotus, a black plusy Indian themed horse plushy.

Some of you guessed that the Sneak Peak of Lotus would be an elephant and I thought you were right. So guess what, you were right, there IS a plushy elephant! This is the first time in my memory that Breyer has offered 2 BreyerFest Plushies in a single year but I don’t follow plushies all that closely. I love both Jaipur and Lotus and hope to add them to my collection just for fun 🙂 Like Lotus, Jaipur will be offered in the BreyerFest Bazaar AKA the popup store.

Meet Lotus The BreyerFest 2017 Plushy!

The BreyerFest Sneak Peek from May 22nd was Lotus. He is the BreyerFest 2017 Plushy that will be sold in the Bazaar / Popup Store. He is black and pink with decorative flowers and the Gateway to India logo. Lotus is rather cute if I dare do say!
