Breyer 1771 Xavier Mystical Unicorn Is Back In Stock!

We are thrilled to announce that we now have the Breyer 1771 Xavier, Mystical Unicorn back in stock! Our initial order for Xavier was placed last winter and was near a complete sell out. We were disheartened when we were told that we would not be able to order any more Xaviers. But guess who arrived with our 2017 Breyer order?! Xavier!

All of the 2017 Breyer Horses that we have listed are in stock and are available for immediate shipment. Some of the listings have been updated to say this and have new pictures. Some of the listings still specify that they are a presale, these listings simply haven’t been updated yet to reflect their in stock status and I am working to update them just as quickly as I can.

2017 Breyers Are In Stock – New Videos – BreyerWest

Good morning everyone! Welcome to the weekend! Yesterday was a very busy and chaotic day. Our shipment of 2017 Breyer Horses arrived!

There were three pallets weighing over 750 pounds and they arrived in the pouring rain, argh. Aidan was delighted with watching the big semi truck pull up and load the pallets onto the lift gate. Forget the ponies ma, there’s a TRUCK!

It was quite the chore pulling all of the boxes off of the pallets and moving them in out of the rain. We then did a quick visual inspection for damage (and there was some, sigh.) We sorted out what we are keeping here at the house and what needed to be moved to storage. It took 2 large SUV loads to move the extra cases of horses to storage.  There is still more that needs to be moved but it is less urgent now that we have use of our porch and more importantly, our front door!

This was an unusually large order for us as we will be vending at BreyerWest 2017 and wanted to have plenty of stock on hand. If you will be attending the Northwest Horse and Fair Expo in March, please stop by our booth and say hi! We will have some special Breyer prices just for BreyerWest!

We are starting to ship our 2017 Breyer Presales today and any stragglers will be shipped on Monday. I haven’t had the chance to update the listings on the website but all of the 2017 Breyer Horses that are listed are now in stock and ready to ship. Woohoo!

On another note, we have added quite a few videos to our Aidan’s Toy Trove Mail Call YouTube Video Series. The most recent video was posted today and we are nearing 100 total Breyer videos, yowsers!

How To Resize A Priority Box To Ship A NIB Breyer

Aidan’s Toy Trove will show you how to form a USPS Priority 1095 Box around a New In Box (NIB) Breyer 1345 Secretariat. You can order USPS Priority Boxes for FREE from http://usps.com

USPS Priority Mail is our service of choice and can be one of the fastest and most cost effective ways to ship items in the 2 to 3 pound range. eBay sellers take note! Resizing shipping boxes is a must if you don’t have the correct size box in stock.

This How To Video will show you an easy way to resize boxes, specifically the USPS Priority 1095 box. This method can be used for multiple items when packing to cut down on wasted space that will add weight. Unnecessary weight brings raises the cost of shipping and in most cases costs the customer (and YOU!) more money.
Using this box resizing method, we are able to ship most NIB Breyer Horses at a 2lb rate. This doesn’t include large models that weigh nearly and sometimes over 2lbs unboxed.  We hope this video helps model horse collectors, eBay sellers and anyone looking for a cheap and simple way to resize a USPS 1095 Priority Box. BreyerFest 2017 Store Special Run Repeat The Beat

Now try saying that three times in a row! Pete, as he is affectionately known, is a full-blooded Tennessee Walking Horse although you wouldn’t guess based on his love of jumping! After a career in the high-stepping Tennessee Walking Horse show circuit Pete now competes in Jumpers, Three-Day Eventing, and Handy Hunter Field tests.

Pete has been recognized in various horse publications and local Tennessee newspapers and he’s considered the mascot of the University of Kentucky Eventing Team. Pete has built a huge following as the little horse ‘who can’. He’s only 15.1, but is proof that you shouldn’t judge a book (or a horse) by its cover.

Pete will be making his Breyer debut as a Store Special at BreyerFest 2017 Gateway to India. Pete is a black sabino roan on the Bluegrass Bandit mold (# 585) which was sculpted by Kathleen Moody and Sommer Prosser and introduced in 2008. Pete has 3 high white legs and unusual knee marking as well as a belly spot and a blaze.

Make sure you buy your model early as this handsome guy is sure to go jumping off the shelves!

Breyer Custom Horse Or Zebra? DARE To Be An Amazing ZORSE!

A custom Breyer horse is an original finish model horse that has been customized in some way. This can range from a horse that has only been repainted to a Breyer that has been drastically resculpted. Here at Aidan’s Toy Trove, my personal Breyer Collection consists of these uniquely painted and resculpted Breyer model horses.

I received a brand new custom Breyer in the mail. He made his journey all the way to California from Australia! Watch us unbox this brand new Breyer for the very first time. Pay attention to how this horse was packaged, the seller did a spectacular job insuring that the horse would arrive in good shape.

This horse was made from the Breyer Stablemate Dungaree mold. He was customized by the very talented Franceyn Dare. To be technical he isn’t exactly a horse, he’s a ZORSE!
