It’s OFFICIAL! The Third BreyerFest Sneak Peek is Dally and Spanky!

Breyer Dally and Spanky

It’s official! Breyer announced that the third BreyerFest Sneak Peek is Dally and Spanky! You can read my original blog post about Dally and Spanky at the link below which includes a video the real dynamic duo!

https://aidanstoytrove.com/breyerfest-2017-sneak-peek-3-spanky-dynamic-duo/

Spanky will be on the Shetland Pony mold and will come with his companion Dally on the Jack Russel Terrier companion animal mold. Dally and Spanky will be a BreyerFest 2017 Gateway to India Store Special Run.

Here is what Breyer has to say about Dally and Spanky:

These two are quite the dynamic duo! Spanky is a miniature horse and Dally is a Jack Russel. Spanky is a luxurious Dark Bay with his signature ‘S’ on his hindquarters. Spanky is on the Shetland Pony mold (#25) and Dally is a classic Jack Russel terrier.

Miniature horse Spanky was rescued at age two by Francesca and Steve of Rother Horsemanship. When he first arrived at his new Washington State home he was aggressive to people and other horses, but after a year with his new family he was a changed horse. Although he was still a bit naughty!

To give Spanky a purpose Francesca started teaching him a couple of tricks and he was joined by another rescued miniature horse, Jet. Quite soon after that Francesca and Steve welcomed another member of their family, a Jack Russell Terrier called Dally who was the runt of her litter. Despite being only six months old she was very interested in Francesca and Spanky and their tricks. One day she jumped onto Spanky’s back to get a better look and ending up enjoying it so much she stayed up there while Spanky was walking around the arena.

From then on Francesca was teaching both Spanky and Dally tricks. They become best friends while learning to jump, lie down, and sit up together. They enjoy travelling to exciting new places with Francesca, Steve, and their big horses! You can learn more about these two on their website www.horseteacher.com or you can follow them on social media at DallyandSpanky.

These adorable gift set will be available at BreyerFest 2017 Gateway to India as a Store Specials.

BreyerFest 2017 Sneak Peek #3 Is Spanky From the Dynamic Duo

Dynamic Duo Dally and Spanky

While Breyer only alluded to it, I think it’s safe to say that the third 2017 BreyerFest Sneak Peek is the Miniature Horse Spanky. Breyer’s latest BreyerFest email featured the Dynamic Duo Dally and Spanky. I expect that Spanky will be released with a Jack Russell Terrier, after all Breyer already has the Jack Russell Terrier Companion Animal mold! The real Spanky is a Miniature Horse and I think that Midnight Tango or maybe even Merrylegs would make good potential molds. As Dally and Spanky will be 2017 BreyerFest Guest Horse and Dog, they will likely be a BreyerFest Store Special Run. Here is what Breyer’s email had to say about the Dynamic Duo:

Dynamic Duo Dally and SpankySpanky, the miniature horse, was rescued by Francesca and Steve of Rother Horsemanship, when he was just two-years-old.  Aggressive to people and horses, Spanky wreaked havoc on everyone he met! But, after a year with his new family on their ranch in Washington State, he was a changed horse … although his naughty personality stayed intact!

To give Spanky a purpose, Francesca started teaching him some tricks. Francesca and Steve also rescued another miniature horse, Jet, to keep Spanky company.

Not too long after that, Francesca and Steve brought home a new Jack Russell Terrier puppy that no one wanted because she was the runt of the litter.  They named her Dally.  Dally was Dynamic Duo Dally and Spankyonly six-months-old but every day, she would sit and watch Francesca work with Spanky on his tricks. One day, to get a better look, she hopped up onto Spanky’s back and stayed on him while he walked around the arena!  From that day forward, they became best friends. Soon, Francesca was teaching them both tricks together! Dally and Spanky love to go over jumps, lie down and sit up together.

Now, they now have a great life on the ranch and get to travel to exciting places with Francesca and Steve and their big horses!  And this summer, they are coming to BreyerFest!  They will have their very own special model set (to be revealed soon!) and will be performing in the Celebration of Horses evening show and during the day!  Don’t miss them!

The Third BreyerFest 2017 Sneak Peak

Dynamic Duo Dally and Spanky

This BreyerFest 2017 Sneak Peek #2is the third BreyerFest 2017 Sneak Peak that Breyer provided.

And this is a picture I found on the internet of the ‘S’ on Spanky’s haunch.

I realize that the S is on the opposite haunch but perhaps Spanky varies how his shaving is done or maybe Breyer was even sneaky and inverted the picture!

Below is a video I found of Dally and and Spanky and YouTube 🙂

Enjoy!

Aidan’s Toy Trove sells new and used Breyer model horse as well as some Peter Stone horses and other brands. 2017 marks the first year that Breyer will be producing their Corral Pal series. You may recognize the Corral Pals as being Collecta molds. This is because Breyer leased the rights from Collecta to produce some of their horses, farm life, dogs and cats. I wrote a blog post about Reeve’s acquisition of Collecta that can be seen at the link below:

We have had a number of requests for size comparisons on Breyer’s new Corral Pals series. In the Breyer Horse Video below we compare the size of a Breyer Corral Pal to a Breyer Stablemate, Breyer Paddock Pal and a Breyer Classic scale horse. We hope that you find this Breyer video helpful in determining size.

Breyer Horse Jackpot Box #2

Aidan’s Toy Trove purchases entire Breyer Collections. Typically, we prefer to purchase horses in bulk lots anywhere in 50 to 2,500 horses in size. We mostly deal in Breyer Horses that are Traditional in size but will also purchase Classics, LittleBits and Stablemates if they come in a group with the full size horses. We will also purchase the occasional lot of Peter Stones, customs or even Artist Resins. On any given day, we have 2 – 10 packages shipping out and usually 1 or 2 packages coming in. We thought it would be fun to share the model horses that we receive in the mail.

Breyer Horse Jackpot Box #2

Welcome to the Aidan’s Toy Trove Mail Call Series! Here you can watch us unbox packages as they arrive in the mail. Some of these are sales horses and some of these are horses for my personal collection. Watch to see what we unbox next! It could be Breyer: BreyerFest or other event Special Run, it might be a store exclusive special run, a vintage model, a decorator or a one of a kind custom horse.

Typically, we list sales horses straight to eBay. If you see something that you would be interested in purchasing, I strongly suggest checking our eBay store to see if it is for sale:

BreyerFest 2017 Sneak Peek #2

Breyer posted a teeny tiny picture as their third BreyerFest 2017 Sneak Peek. I don’t have a clue who this horse might be. Any guesses?!

On another note, our BreyerFest 2017 Tickets are here. BreyerFest still seems so far off but I know that it will creep up quickly. BreyerWest 2017 has been on my mind and once that is finished, perhaps the reality of BreyerFest 2017 will kick in! I am planning on making a blog post explaining all the ‘stuff’ you get with the purchase of a BreyerFest 3 Day ticket but I also made a brief YouTube Video that explains the basics 🙂
