Our Thanksgiving & Last Day For Thanksgiving Day Sales

Good morning everyone. I hope that you and your loved ones had a fantastic Thanksgiving Day weekend. We went to the in law’s house for Thanksgiving day dinner and it was scrumptious! Aidan had a grand time. I told him not to eat too many sweets which in his mind amounted to 3 big cookies before dinner and 2 pieces of pumpkin pie after. He was pinging off the walls after dinner, that’s for sure!
On our drive up to Thanksgiving Dinner, we saw a beautiful waterfall cascading down the mountain. I suppose the one good thing about the constant rain is that it makes pretty waterfalls, LOL.
On a model horse related note, I wanted to remind everyone that today, Sunday November 27th is the last day to take advantage of our Thanksgiving Day Sales. I’m positively thrilled by the number of sales that the website processed. Hubby and I have spent countless hours working on the website to get it to the point that it is at. Making the shipping cost accurate was the hardest part. We use WordPress and free plugins for our website. And surprise, most of the GOOD plugins cost money. I was ready to just pay the money for a shipping plugin and almost like magic, everything just came together 🙂 Do any of you run your own website shop? And if so, what platform do you use?

Coeur de Lion Behind The Scenes Instagram Video Creation

My wonderful Instagram followers were a very bad influence on me today. They distracted me into making videos of various Breyer horses when I should have been working on eBay listings. Bad followers, bad! So we (yes this is a family effort!) made an Aidan’s Toy Trove YouTube video about the making of an Instagram video. And this just happens to feature my newly received Breyer Coeur de Lion. If you want to see Coeur de Lion up close, here is your chance!
But really, this was a lot of fun. It took quite a bit of trial and error but I think making Breyer product videos is doable. Is there anything that you would specifically like to see videos of? Maybe videos of the custom finish horses in my personal collection or videos of new Breyer releases? We are open to any and all ideas. That is, anything that doesn’t involve me singing…
Custom Ruffian By Unknown Artist On eBay – Can You Help?

I listed a lovely custom Ruffian to eBay. She has a bit of resculpting and is painted to a flashy chestnut sabino pinto.

This horse is a bit of a mystery to me. I do not know who the artist is and I was unable to read the signature. I’m posting some photos here in the hopes that someone recognizes this piece. There are more pictures that can be enlarged in the auction. Can anyone help my identify this lovely horse’s artist?

Hi guys! I’m feeling a bit more relaxed now that I finally finished packing all of the orders shipping out today.
Hubby and Aidan are in Las Vegas so it’s just little old me running the store. Should I be afraid that the boys are alone in Las Vegas?? They went shooting in Indian Springs and hubby is threatening to buy another gun, LOL.

Today I listed a lovely Leah’s Fancy Chick to eBay as a Fixed Price Listing with Best Offer enabled. She was the 2000 BreyerFest Celebration Horse and is still one of my favorite Celebrations Horses to date. But I do have a soft spot of Lady Phase!

We do plan on offering some Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday Specials. The thought of everything that needs to be done still is a bit daunting. But be on a look out for specials both on eBay and on Aidan’s Toy Trove Website Store!
I have a question for you all. The website has been painfully slow from my end. But the internet here in general has also been slow and I fear that my laptop is on its last leg. Are you experiencing excessive load times for our website? I think it may have something to do with the cache plugin that I had to turn off as it crashed the webite, yikes! Thank you in advance for any feedback!
