Breyer Buckskin Pintaloosa Carrick BreyerFest 2017 Live Auction Lot

Breyer revealed another lovely BreyerFest 2017 Live Auction Lot. This one is a beautiful buckskin pintaloosa on the Carrick mold. He was designed by one of Breyer’s best artist’s, Karen Williams. This is one flashy dude! The current release on this lovely mold is Cortes C:

Today’s model is on another fan favorite mold, the Walking Thoroughbred, mold #724. ‘Carrick’ has appeared at prior BreyerFests including last year’s volunteer model, Caipirinha, as well as the surprise model Bonne Fête in our Silver Jubilee year 2014. This year he appears as a creamy Buckskin Pintaloosa and was designed by Karen Williams.

Breyer Pearly Cremello Pinto Newsworthy – BreyerFest 2017 Live Auction Lot

Breyer revealed another BreyerFest 2017 Live Auction Lot. This one is the Newsworthy mold with the loose mane and tail. He is a cute cremello pinto with a pearly finish. Personally, I find this fellow a bit too metallic for my tastes but I’m confident that this flashy pony will bring a tidy sum in the BreyerFest 2017 Live Auction!

The Newsworthy mold is was last produced as the 9170 Connemara Pony who was part of the Best of the British Series. He came in two mold variations, one the loose mane and one with the braided mane. The 9170 Connemara Pony is now retired and Newsworthy is not currently being produced as a regular run.

Today’s model is hoping to jump into a new home at the BreyerFest Gateway to India Live Auction! This Cremello Tobiano Pinto is on mold #712, the Hunter Pony. The Hunter Pony was first introduced in 2008 and is fondly known as ‘Newsworthy’. This model has the free-flowing loose mane option.

Breyer Appaloosa Flash – BreyerFest 2017 Auction Lot

Eeeeeek! Can you believe that it is only 18 days until BreyerFest?! I need to get a move on! Breyer revealed this rather dashing appaloosa Flash as one of their BreyerFest 2017 Auction lots. He is a semi leopard appaloosa on what appears to be a blue roan or grey base color. I really like this one. Thank goodness I don’t collect Original Finish Breyers!

This charming grey semi-leopard Appaloosa is on the Flash model, first introduced in 2004 as a portrait model of the United States Pony Club’s 50th Anniversary horse, the Morgan gelding Flash.

Breyer Decorator Rejoice – BreyerFest 2017 Live Auction Lot

Breyer revealed a beautiful dark twin sister to Namaste today. She is the Rejoice mold with a base color of black and a decorator henna design in a rainbow of colors. This Decorator Rejoice will be part of the BreyerFest 2017 Live Auction.

As beautiful as Namaste is with her glossy finish and her pearly mane and tail, I think that I personally prefer this unique Test Color Namaste. Which one do you prefer?

As much as we love Namaste, one of the Special Run models, we love this Live Auction model as well! Especially with the vibrant designs and the way they pop against the dark background of the model. Sommer Prosser’s National Show Horse Mold sets the designs off perfectly!

Breyer Glossy Palomino Laredo – BreyerFest 2017 Auction Lot

Breyer revealed a scrumptious glossy dappled palomino Laredo today. I assume that he is part of the BreyerFest 2017 Live Auction but he may be part of the Silent Auction. According to the picture title, he has purple and silver braids. It’s been a while since Breyer last used this mold which was sculpted by Kathleen Moody. He sure is pretty!

For those of you who don’t know, the Laredo mold is a variation of the Brishen or Gypsy Vanner mold:

This cheerful fellow is a rich, glossy Dapple Palomino on the Iberian mold (#723). We’ve seen a few different versions of Kathleen Moody’s Gypsy Vanner mold over the years, but this guy certainly catches our eye!
