Have you seen the newest Breyer Web Special Run Avalanche? She is the Bobby Jo mold in silver filigree!
In the past, the silver filigrees have been very popular among collectors. I anticipate that Avalanche will be in high demand. She will be limited to 350 pieces.
Members of the Collector’s Club may enter by lottery once per day until November 14’th at 23:59EST.
I will definitely be entering for a chance to purchase Avalanche. I’m still curious who won the Breyer’s latest Test Color offering on the Clydesdale Mare. Anyone want to fess up??

Hey everyone! We are in full swing today with the new arrivals being here. They all need the royal treatment—that means being brushed, groomed, petted, photographed—oh, and of course listed. That’s right—the 2016 Mid States Exclusive & Tractor Supply Special Runs are in!
First we have Chance – American Paint Horse. He is the 2016 Mid States Exclusive Special Run. Chance is a Red Dun Tobiano Pinto and he’s on the Zippo Pine Bar Mold sculpted by Sommer Prosser. He’s just arrived and we are already down to just 1 left! Don’t worry though, it looks like we have more on the way! If you want to take a closer look, be sure and watch the YouTube video here.
Next we have Santana, the Bay Pinto Mustang. Santana is a 2016 Tractor Supply Exclusive Special Run. He has very nice shading and is on the Silver Mold sculpted by Kathleen Moody. He’s in stock and ready for a new home. If you’d like to see him out of his box, check out the YouTube video here.
Finally, we have Garrett, the Bay Roan Quarter Horse. Garret is also a Tractor Supply Exclusive Special Run. He’s on the Smart Chic O’lena Mold. Garrett is here to represent AQHA. If you want to see a close- up video of him in his box, you can watch it here.

The BreyerFest 2017 Celebration Horse Is Nazruddin

I don’t know about you, but I’m about ready for BreyerFest 2017! Seeing how quickly this year has flown past, I’m sure that BreyerFest will again be here in no time. Next year’s theme is Gateway to India. The dates are July 14th – 16th. To be honest, I’m a bit perplexed by the theme but I’m excited to see how Breyer will make it work.
It look as though the Celebration horse will be a Nazruddin, a champion Marwari owned by Francesca Kelly. I found this fascinating article on the Smithsonian website about Francesca’s Kelly’s effort to bring the Marwari breed to the United States. You can read it here:

I think it’s pretty safe to say that Breyer will be using the 1495 Marwari Mold to represent Nazruddin. But I could be wrong, who knows what surprises Breyer has in store for us!

Breyer 1771 Unicorn Xavier Available To Purchase!

So many of you have asked about the Breyer Winter Special 1771 Xavier Mystical Unicorn that I wanted to make a brief post so nobody would miss out on him. Xavier is finally here and I have listed him to our website. He is a big boy and will ship at 3 pounds. Xavier is available for immediate shipment. Has anyone else heard that Xavier is limited to 2,500 pieces? I find this hard to believe but if he is, snap one up quick as he will surely sell out quickly. Breyer Collector’s Club Test Color Clydesdale Mare Lottery!

Breyer is once again offering Collector’s Club members a chance at a one of a kind Test Color. This time it is the Clydesdale Mare mold in a glossy bay appaloosa. Members may enter the lottery once a day until 11/6/16 at 11:59EST. If chosen, the purchase price is $850. This horse isn’t my particular cup of tea. I likely will pass on her. I’m sure someone would love to own her! Will you be entering?

Exclusively for Breyer Collector Club members! Breyer test run models are initial decos painted up to see how a particular color might look on a particular sculpture. Or, they may be created to test out a painting technique or new colorway. Not all test run models are used, and they may vary over time as different painting techniques are developed and tested. Each model has a fixed price and interested members enter a random draw for the ability to purchase the test piece.
Introducing a Glossy Bay Appaloosa Draft Mare! This pretty test run has splatter spots in a semi-leopard coat, a variegated black and white mane and four high socks. A high gloss finish adds to her unique appeal!
The Bay Appaloosa Drafter test piece is priced at $850 and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Only 1 piece is available for purchase.
