Indu the Final BreyerFest 2017 Special Run Revealed!

Breyer Indu 711259

Breyer revealed their last and final BreyerFest 2017 Special Run. His name is Indu. As expected he is the Valegro mold in a GLORIOUS dapple grey. Indu’s color was designed by the famed Tom Bainbridge and the mastery in Indu’s color really shines through! I am a huge fan of the Valegro mold and I am a huge fan of Tom Bainbridge’s work. It’s a no brainer, this fellow is a must have for me!

Here is what the BreyerFest Blog has to say about Indu:

This stunningly handsome model is an exquisitely-shaded dark dapple grey done on Brigitte Eberl’s mold #737, more commonly known as the Valegro mold. Indu’s coloring was designed by Tom Bainbridge with tri-color eyes, painted silver horse shoes, and delicately-striped hooves.

Indu is named after the Indus River Valley, one of the largest river basins in Asia and a cradle of civilization in India. Major cities along this winding river and its tributaries date back more than 5,000 years and it is from this river valley that the nation of India derives its name.

As our final Special Run model for BreyerFest Gateway to India, Indu is both handsome and strong, a fitting representative of the beauty, diversity, and history of such a great nation.

We are offering a very limited number of BreyerFest 2017 Pickup Slots available. You can find all of our information at the preceding link. Please read all of the information carefully.

For fun, here is one of my lovely Breyer Custom Horses painted by Tom Bainbridge. He, like Valegro, was sculpted by Brigitte Eberl and is on the Totilas mold. He is painted to one of Tom’s trademark dappled greys. You can see that this fellow has a very similar feel to his color as Indu 🙂
