Peter Stone Ideal Stock Horse – Likely OOAK – Best Offer

Peter Stone Ideal Stock Horse – Likely OOAK – Best Offer

Peter Stone Unknown OOAK Ideal Stock Horse

A lot of you may recognize this fellow from last week. He is a Peter Stone Ideal Stock Horse that has been factory customized. He is a glossy dapple bay. I am officially opening this horse to offers. I have been unsuccessful in trying to identify this particular horse and I believe him to be one of a kind. He does have some flaws. He has an invisible paint touchup on the front of his lower right front leg. He has a near invisible paint touchup on the front of his left nostril. He has what looks to be 3 marks of factory red paint on the underside of his muzzle. These marks cannot be seen when the horse is standing. He has a large flaw in the gloss on the front of his left hind gaskin. The gloss is dull and rough to the touch. It looks like it was touched before the gloss fully cured. It looks a bit worse in person than my pictures show. If this could be fixed, I feel this would be a LSQ horse.

I am accepting offers on this horse until Sunday, March 5th at 6pm PST. At this time he 2 highest bidders will be allowed to submit offers until one bidder backs down.

Here is a link to the ISH’s MHSP ad.

$325 March 3 Bidder 2

Meet Rangoli the BreyerFest 2017 Sunday Raffle Horse!

Meet Rangoli the BreyerFest 2017 Sunday Raffle Horse!

BreyerFest Rangoli

Rangoli is the BreyerFest 2017 Sunday Raffle model. He is limited to 26 pieces. Rangoli is the Premier Club True North or Cantering Warmblood mold that was sculpted by Mogen Kilbourn. He is a stunning sooty dappled buckskin with sabino marking. I really like Rangoli. I personally wish that he wasn’t such a limited run but that won’t stop me from trying for one! Here is what the BreyerFest Blog has to say about Rangoli:

BreyerFest RangoliBreyerFest RangoliWell, the wait is over – meet Rangoli! Named for his complicated belly spot and his very handsome overall appearance, the Sunday Raffle model is on Morgen Kilbourn’s new Cantering Warmblood model (mold 739). This majestic horse is a sooty dappled buckskin with sabino markings. His single stocking, double socks, and white heel add to his complex design which also includes a partial blue eye and the aforementioned belly spot.

Rangoli is an intricate art form that originated in Nepal that uses colored sand, rice, flour, or even flower petals to create huge designs on floors and in courtyards. Designs can range from animals and flowers to complex geometric shapes. The art is prevalent during the festival of Diwali and the designs are thought to bring good luck.

Keep an eye on the Breyer Blog as we will be unveiling the Saturday raffle model soon!

Don’t forget to buy your raffle tickets at the Breyer Booth throughout the weekend! Tickets are $1 each or $5 for 6 tickets. There is a discount for buying in volume! But remember, it only takes one ticket to win!

We have a little insider’s trick for you – make quick labels with your name and phone number. It will make filling out your raffle tickets much faster, giving you more time to enjoy BreyerFest!

Each model is limited to 26 pieces (25 models for the Raffle and 1 model in the Live Auction) and you must be present to win. Behind The Scenes – Breyer Horse Binning

Behind The Scenes – Breyer Horse Binning

Breyer Horse Binning

Aidan’s Toy Trove purchases entire Breyer Collections. Typically, we prefer to purchase horses in bulk lots anywhere in 50 to 2,500 horses in size. We mostly deal in Breyer Horses that are Traditional in size but will also purchase Classics, LittleBits and Stablemates if they come in a group with the full size horses. We will also purchase the occasional lot of Peter Stones, customs or even Artist Resins.

These horses are inventoried, photographed, conditioned and listed. They are also wrapped and binned until they are sold. This video shows how we store our loose Breyer Horses who are later moved to shelves in the garage. They are each stored in number bins and this bin number is recorded on our inventory spreadsheet.

Typically, we list sales horses straight to eBay. If you see something that you would be interested in purchasing, I strongly suggest checking our eBay store to see if it is for sale:
