Meet Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh. They are Breyer’s Christmas Day Collector’s Club Special Run! They are a Gambler’s Choice on the Sherman’s Morgan mold in 1 of 3 random colors. They are priced at $95 including FREE SHIPPING. Each color is limited to 350 pieces. Collector’s Club Members should have plenty of time to order as this brings the total run size to 1050.

Last year, Breyer offered Holly and Ivy in dappled red and green on the Flash mold. I suspect that Gold, Frankinsence and Myrrh will be a bit less popular because they are on the Sherman Morgan mold. None the less, $95ppd is  still a great deal!

Breyer 2017 Winter Wonderland

The Breyer 2017 Christmas Horse is Winter Wonderland. He is the Totilas mold in a shimmery palomino and comes with owls. How cool is that?! He looks so ethereal! Where do I sign up, I’m already hooked, LOL. We do plan on stocking the 2017 Christmas Horse but that pricing information won’t be available for quite some time.

If you didn’t already know the Breyer 1438 Totilas is retiring at the end of 2016.

Breyer Beachcomber and Cypress!

The Connemara Mare is one of my favorite Breyer molds. I know she isn’t for everyone but I adore Sarah Minkiewicz sculpts. How could I not love her?! 2017 looks to be a fantastic year for the Connemara Mare mold! The new for 2016 1753 Banks Vanilla will remain a regular run for 2017.

Beachcomber will be a 2017 Flagship Special Run. She is the trademark chestnut pinto seen on the Chincoteague Pony breed. Great job Breyer! She reminds me of my custom Breyer Connemara Mare by Cyntha Wyatt (pictured on the right). The custom is for sale, you can email me for more information aidanstoytrove@gmail.com. I will not have any Beachcombers for sale. Here is what Breyer has to say about Beachcomber:

The Chincoteague Pony has long enchanted the minds and hearts of generations. Immortalized by Marguerite Henry’s classic books, as well as Breyer models, these hardy ponies have called Virginia’s Assateague Island their home since the 17th century. They were likely brought to Assateague by early area settlers who turned their horses loose to graze on the island (although there are tales of the ponies coming to the island by shipwreck).

Whatever their origin, Assateague’s population of ponies has thrived. Surviving on the marsh grasses, these ponies typically stand 12-13hh and often have pinto coloring. The herd is owned by the Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Company, and every summer the “Saltwater Cowboys” round up the ponies for their annual Pony Penning. After a swim across the Assateague Channel to Chincoteague Island, some of the foals are auctioned off, which keeps the herd at a healthy and sustainable size.

The Connemara Mare will also be offered in woodgrain for 2017 Vintage Club Members. Her name is Cypress. She makes the Vintage Club a tad more appealing to me but it’s still a pass for me.

Today Is The Last Day For December 24th Arrival With Express Shipping

Today, Wednesday December 21st is the very last day to order and have the option of guaranteed arrival for December 24th. This guarantee is only available within the US. You must upgrade to Express shipping and there is an additional cost which is based on the package weight. On average, Express shipping for 1 horse is $27.75 additional.

The website does not currently offer this option but we can send you a Paypal Invoice for the upgraded shipping. You can call us any time today up until midnight tonight PST to upgrade your shipping. Our phone number is 707-954-0179. Your order and upgraded shipping must be paid by midnight today for us to be able to ship out in the morning and guarantee delivery for December 24th. This applies to our eBay Store as well as to our Website Store. The eBay Store will allow you to checkout and you can choose Priority Mail Express as a shipping option.
