Breyer Glossy Cosette Review
On December 13’th, Breyer offered a Collector’s Club Appreciation Glossy Cosette model. She was ‘free’ with a purchase of $100 or more. I swore to myself that I wasn’t going to give Breyer any more of my money. But those that know me, probably won’t be surprised to hear that I caved at the last minute. I closed my eyes and handed over my credit card to Breyer to redeem my Glossy Cosette! Bad bad me.
My Glossy Cosette arrived a few days ago. She is quite lovely. I own the matte version (pictured below) and the gloss really makes her color pop. As with the matte Cosette and any of the more modern Classic Arabian Mares, her mold detailing is soft. Most notably, her left nostril is quite undefined. Like the matte Cosette, she came with a mail order box and a generic Breyer hang tag.
I personally love the Love molds (get it?!) and I’m happy that I added this model to my personal collection. Just before I caved, I thought to myself that I would likely hunt her down on the secondary market anyway and I love fun little events like this one. To me, it was a much better promotion than last years 1730 AQHA 75th Anniversary promotion.

Glossy Cosette OR a Glossy Julian and Sophia
Before I could finish my Glossy Cosette Review, Breyer again offered another promotion for a Glossy Cosette or a Glossy Julien and Sophia.
I took to bait and put in another order. I’m hoping for a Glossy Julian and Sophia as I already have the Glossy Cosette. I’ll be sure to make a blog post about them if I am lucky enough to receive a Glossy Julian and Sophia!

We purchase entire Breyer Collections. Last week, we stumbled upon a particularly good box that hadn’t yet been entered into inventory. There are lots of Connoisseur horses, BreyerWest horses and even some BreyerFest Volunteer horses! If you want to see some eye candy, please check it out!

Holiday Fun But Now It’s Back To Business!

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Holiday this year! We opened presents here on Christmas morning and then drove up to visit my parents in Vancouver. It was a brief but enjoyable visit. We are now back home and just shipped out an impressive pile of packages. I think that I’m about ready for a nap already, LOL. Thank you everyone for your purchases!
In an effort to clear some space, we are running another sale in our eBay Store. Some of the horses have had a 10 – 15% price reduction and there is an Promotional Offer running of Buy One and Get One at 15% Off.
This week, Baya is coming home! Her stall is prepared and waiting for her. We just need to coordinate a date and time for her to be trailered back here. It’s a bit like getting a horse for Christmas =D

While it is bittersweet, everyone is excited about Baya coming home. I can’t wait until the weather warms up enough to give her a bath. She’s looking a bit brown at the moment.

Breyer seems to be listening to collectors! They are now offering a free Glossy Julian and Sophia or a Glossy Cosette to Breyer Collector’s Club Members. To redeem you must order $100 of merchandise from the website and be a current Collector’s Club member. This promotion is available for 24 hours only on December 26th, 2016.
I personally am a bit bummed. I received a Glossy Cosette and I would *love* to have a Glossy Julian and Sophia. However, I’m afraid that I would receive another Glossy Cosette.
