BreyerFest Left Overs

My BreyerFest model inventory was running low and quite honestly, it was probably a good thing.  I went a bit overboard this year and purchased several tent  special run tickets.   I scored some nice horses but no Silver Charms.  And then, last month, Breyer offered the BreyerFest Tent Special Run leftover models to ticket purchasers through their website.  I caved and bought, erm, more than I should have.  I couldn’t believe my eyes when I thought what I saw was a pink nose showing through the bubble wrap of my Kodiak and Denali.  Was that??  Naw, it couldn’t be!

I might have squealed, but only maybe…  The next bag that I pulled out of my Breyer box of goodies was a Gossamer.  Through the wrapping he looked oddly solid in color.  I was still giddy over the Silver Charm bears.  I had just unwrapped 2 glossy Gossamers and I was hoping for a matte version.  For a little variation ya know…  And this is what was what I discovered!

There are rumors floating around about the “open bags” these left over tent special runs are packaged in.  They made me roll my eyes more than a little.  Folks, both the Silver Charm Bears and the Silver Charm Gossamer that I received were in light blue bags that were taped shut.  They were not heat sealed.  Are you debating about purchasing some BreyerFest leftovers??  Dooo it!  I’m doing my best to resist the urge to buy more.  I don’t need any more horses, truly!
