Breyer Woodland Splendor and Xavier Are On The Way!

Guess what? The Breyer 700119 Woodland Splendor Christmas horse AND Breyer 1771 Xavier are on the way.
Woohoo! They should be here within the next couple of weeks. If there is enough demand, I will set up preorders for them. I’m silly excited over the release of these particular 2 horses.
The Breyer 1783 Gold Valegro is not yet available yet. As stated before, we unfortunately will not be receiving any of the Breyer 1767 Gloriosos.

Meet Yasmin The 3rd 2016 Premier Club Release!

Meet Yasmin, the 3rd release in the Breyer 2016 Premier Club. She is a brand new Shagya Arabian cross sculpted by one of my favorite artists, Brigitte Eberl! Her beautiful pinto color was designed by color expert Lesli Kathman. Yasmin will ship in November 2016. I’m so excited for this horse! She and Shannondell are my favorite Premier Club horses of 2016. To be honest, after Shannondell, I wasn’t expecting to like the 3rd Premier Club horse of the year. Thankfully, I couldn’t have been more wrong! Breyer’s Sneak Peak email for Yasmin reads as follows:

Yasmin is a stunning Shagya Arabian cross sculpted by Brigitte Eberl with colorway designed by Lesli Kathman. She’s a lovely intricate bay sabino and will be shipping in November!
I love Brigitte Eberl’s sculpts. To date, Weather Girl has been my favorite Breyer Arabian as far as accuracy. If you are a fan of Weather Girl as well, we have the most current release on the mold, 1752 Rhapsody In Black in stock and available for immediate shipment.
But it’s no secret that I have a soft spot for Maureen Love’s Proud Arabian Mare as well. I think Yasmin will take over as my new favorite Arabian. I hope that she turns out as nicely as Breyer’s pictures depict her. Honestly, I don’t think that there is a horse Brigitte Eberl has sculpted that I haven’t liked.
I have a whole conga of Breyer custom Alborozos and a stash of Alborozos waiting for just the right artist to customize them as well. However, I’m down to my factory mint Albys, the thought of customizing them is makes even the diehard custom collector in me cringe. Would there be any interest in my setting up a gallery of my custom finish Alborozos?

Our distributor received the delayed Breyer 1764 BHR Bryant’s Jake and the Breyer Christmas Horse 700119 Woodland Splendor. We have placed our order and expect to receive our shipment within the next 2 weeks. We are still waiting for the Breyer 1771 Xavier Mystical Unicorn to come in, but we don’t have an estimated time of arrival on him. We aren’t accepting any preorders on Xavier. If there is enough interest, I could get some presale listings going for BHR Bryant’s Jake and Woodland Splendor as our order is confirmed.
We will also be ordering some of the Breyer 700317 Woodland Splendor Stirrup Ornament. Is there any interest in any of the other current run Breyer ornaments?
We are just beginning to explore the use of Youtube for Aidan’s Toy Trove. Right now, we only have a couple of experimental videos up. Breyer 2017 Premier Club
True North
I have been a member of the Breyer Premier Club for the past several years. This year, Shannondell was my favorite model. The Breyer 2017 Premier Club is now open for renewal. Breyer posted a picture of the first 2017 Premier Club horse. His name is True north and he is sculpted by Morgen Kilbourn. Morgen was also the sculptor of Wyatt. True North was decorated by one of my favorite painters, Stephanie Michaud. His paint job definitely let’s Steph’s unique painting style show through! Just seeing these pictures of True North has convinced me to join the 2017 Premier Club. Will you be joining?
All Of The Pretty BreyerFest 2016 Stablemates!

These have been a very long time coming but I finally finished posting all of the BreyerFest 2016 Stablemates to the website. The BreyerFest 2016 Single Day Stablemates were all number 711235. They came packed in colorful Stablemate sized boxes. We have all of the BreyerFest 2016 Stablemates in stock and available for immediate shipment. I do anticipate offering some for sale as a complete set but I haven’t gotten around to making a listing for that yet. Please inquire at aidanstoytrove@gmail.com if you would like to purchase a set. Which Single Day Stablemate is your favorite?
I think the my personal favorites are Amapa and Bahia. But I am a big fan of the Spanish breeds and I am also naturally drawn to Para. Breyer did a great job on their Stablemate selection this year at BreyerFest!
I anticipated having problems acquiring the Breyer Mercado store Special Run 711248 Copacabana. But I think the brutal heat and humidity brought down the number of people willing to wait in line for him and I was able to snag some. It’s a bit hard to tell in the pictures but he is the G3 Mustang mold in a purple decorator with vibrant orange and red flames.
