BreyerFest Dag Dia Albion: The Enchanted Stallion

I’m a big fan of baroque horses. Breyer is releasing a portrait model of Dag Dia from the upcoming coming movie, Albion: The Enchanted Stallion at BreyerFest 2016. He is what looks to be jet black on the Brishen or Gypsy Vanner mold. Dag Dia will be for sale in the Breyer Store. Historically I have had very poor luck acquiring the store special runs as I spend a lot of time standing in the Tent line. I really like Dag Dia and I’m crossing my fingers that I will luck out and be able to snag one. I am not offering any presales on this model. Dag Dia will be one of the BreyerFest 2016 Guest Horses. Majestic Friesians – Nitrous & Hans
Stars of upcoming feature film Albion: The Enchanted Stallion
Nitrous and Hans of Majestic Friesians (located in Big Rapids, Michigan) become Dag Dia in the upcoming movie, Albion: The Enchanted Stallion. These majestic trick stallions braved minus 15-degree temperatures to film scenes in Michigan, then faced 85-degree weather in Bradenton, Florida before being flown to Bulgaria for 2 months of principal photography. Nitrous and Hans are expertly trained and handled by Ashley Klein and are owned by David, Hailey, Hanna and Lori Brock. The stallions took to acting like pros, with Hans handling the scenes where Dag Dia needed to be aggressive, rearing or striking, and Nitrous appearing in virtually every scene of the movie (when he wasn’t running around loose on set stealing cake from the crew).

BreyerFest Auction Lot #3 Bronze Marwari The First Decorator

Breyer posted a sneak peak of the third BreyerFest 2016 Auction lot on the Breyer News Page. He is the Marwari mold that was sculpted Brigitte Eberl. He is a unique bronze decorator. Breyer has this to say about him:
26 Days Until BreyeFest! Today we have Lot #3, a Bronze Decorator Marwari on Mold No. 722.
I love the Marwari mold but I can’t help but to be reminded of Durango and Hykos. Hopefully this boy looks better!

The NAMHSA Auction Is Back With a Test Color Cody!

It has been several years since NAN held a Live Auction. But 2016 is bringing the NAN Auction back! NAN itself will be held before Breyer Fest on July 19th – 21st. Here is the link to NAMHSA Website if
you need more information about the show itself. NAN entries are closed but there is still plenty of information posted. Here is the link to NAMHSA Facebook Page. Thursday, July 21st will be the live NAN auction! It will be held from 6-8:00pm in the conference space of the Clarion aka CHIN. To date, only one of the auction lots has been posted but the NAMHSA website says that the other Auction Lots will be posted soon. The Auction Lot that was revealed is Breyer’s donation test color! He is the Cody mold in a very dashing buckskin or bay blanket appaloosa.
I was a little surprised to see him after the first Collector’s Club Test Color Raffle Cody but they are quite different in color.

Perhaps Cody is making a come back =D I can’t wait to see what other NAN auction lots will be offered. I’m hoping as well as not hoping that there will be a custom Breyer for me to bid on. Custom Breyers are my passion by my wallet would undoubtedly object.

BreyerFest Auction Lot #2 Weather Girl
Breyer posted a sneak peak of the second BreyerFest 2016 Auction lot on the Breyer News Page. She is the Trotting Arabian Mare or Weather Girl mold that was sculpted Brigitte Eberl. She is a beautiful glossy dun pinto. She is quite the looker but I think that the Lot #1 Valegro is still my personal favorite. Breyer has this to say about her:

BreyerFest Auction Lot #1 Valegro
Breyer posted a sneak peak of the first BreyerFest 2016 Auction lot on the BreyerFest Blog. He is the Valegro mold in a decadent Palomino Pinto. If I win the lottery, I’m bidding, teehee. I’m a bit puzzled by Breyer’s reference to mold number 737. Does Breyer’s mold number usually differ from the product number of the first release? Here is what Breyer has to say about him:
