For sale is a Traditional Scale Breyer Wailua 712221. He is the Legionario III Famous Andalusian mold in a gorgeous glossy dapple grey. Wailua was a 2017 Web Special Run and was limited to 350 pieces. He was the second in the America the Beautiful Series. Here is what Breyer has to say about Wailua:
Beautiful Wailua captures the soft grey splash of the twin falls known as Wailua Falls on the island of Kauai, Hawaii. Wailua is also home to NouNou Mountains (also known as the Sleeping Giant) that divides the island, and the 20-mile long Wailua River. This striking Andalusian with soft dapples and dark points was inspired by the mists of this lush tropical paradise. His high gloss finish is a rare feature on the Legionario mold!
Wailula is in Excellent condition but has some factory flaws. He has some cloudy spots in his gloss on his right hind fetlock and some hard to see cloudy spots on his left hind cannon bone. He has a dark mark towards the back of the left side of his barrel and a small darker mark on the back of his tail. Please refer to the pictures for the exact condition. For my reference, this is #712221BVA.
