For sale is a Traditional Scale Breyer Saffron Glossy 711260 Flawed. This is the Premier Club Geronimo mold in a gorgeous glossy dun. Saffron has a lovely soft color with subtle dapples, primitive markings and lots of chrome! Saffron is stamped BreyerFest 2017 on his underbelly in black ink. The run was limited to 1,600 pieces. 800 were produced with a glossy finish and 800 were produced with a matte finish. This listing is for a Breyer Saffron Glossy 711260 Flawed.
Saffron is a minimal splash Paint in yellow dun on the Geronimo mold (#733), which was first released last year as a part of the 2016 Premier Collection. Saffron has leg bars and a majestic dorsal stripe and his coat has a bit of a pearly-sheen. Our first BreyerFest Gateway to India Special Run model has a touch of the iconic golden-yellow color and lives up to his namesake.
This listing is for the exact model shown. This particular model has exceptionally nice color and shading. However, Saffron has some factory flaws. The most notable is some damage or flaws in the gloss on the left side of his neck. This is rather subtle and I did not notice it the first time that I looked at Saffron. They appear as thin lines in his gloss, he also has a small piece of lint stuck in the gloss on the left side of his neck. He has a white line on the inside of his right front knee. He has 2 very faint grey dots on the front right side of his muzzle. He has a razor thin darker line on his right front fetlock. He has a plastic or paint goober on the back side of his right haunch towards the top of his tail. He has a couple of other tiny pieces of line or dark marks.
