Breyer Custom Friesian By Sue Kern Ending on eBay Monday Night

I have a wonderful Breyer Custom Friesian done by Sue Kern ending on eBay Monday night. He is one of those horses that was intended for my personal show string but I’m trying to cut down on my herd. He NAN qualified in a huge halter class at his first and only show at the prestigious BreyerFest Open 2015. This fellow has a bit of an interesting story. If you’re interested, read on or you can check out his auction. He does have a bid and will sell http://www.ebay.com/itm/Breyer-Traditional-Model-Horse-CM-Friesian-Drastic-Custom-Salinero-by-S-Kern-/221989743281?ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT

I originally purchased a gorgeous Friesian customized from the Breyer Totilas directly from Sue Kern. When I received him, his finish was sticky and the packing material was stuck to him. I sent him back to Sue for repair. She fixed him up and sent him back. He was slightly tacky to the touch but I wasn’t overly concerned. I packed him up for a show and when I unpacked him for his class, he was super sticky and the packing had again stuck to his finish. So back to Sue he went. This time she fixed him and packed him up and left him on her porch for a month to see if she could replicate the problem. He stayed dry and came home to me. I put him in my glass curio cabinet and took him out a few months later and wouldn’t you know….he was sticky. At this point I had given up on the poor fellow and Sue kindly agreed to replace him with a custom NOT on the Totilas mold as we both believed that was what had created the problem. I told her to surprise me 🙂 I sent the Totilas custom back to Sue to be destroyed <sniff>. I forgot about it for a while and a few months later a surprise package arrived and inside was a LOVELY custom Friesian. However he was made from the Salinero mold and not the problematic Totilas. Sue truly went all out on this model and he is everything that I could have hoped for. Thank you Sue!

What Do You Call A Hornless Unicorn? Unique Whatchamacallit Equine Ending Sunday!

What do you call a hornless unicorn? A horse? What if it is a color shifting pearlsecent pink? Hmmm… I couldn’t think of a name for it but I do have one! She is the mare from the Breyer Glitter and Gem set on the Mariah mold. She escaped the factory without a horn. Her auction is ending on eBay on Sunday night. Check her out, she’s pretty cool! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Breyer-711999-Glitter-and-Gem-Unicorn-Unique-Rare-Variation-OOAK-NO-HORN-Equid-/221988918254?ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT

Very Nice Hand Inspected Breyer Chanel Ending Sunday

I used to try and photograph every single horse for my multi quantity listings and revise the listing when one sold. I learned quickly that this was very time consuming and in the end just not feasible for me to do. Now and then I take the time to photograph and list the exact horse that will be sold from a multi quantity listing. I have a very nice Chanel ending on Sunday evening. I have provided many pictures of the exact horse. While LSQ is a subjective term, I personally would be proud to show this horse. You can see her listing on eBay here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Breyer-Traditional-Model-Horse-Chanel-Breyerfest-2015-SR-Connemara-Mare-/321972694945?ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT
