Meet Wailua – 2nd In Breyer’s America The Beautiful Series

Meet Wailua, the second release in the America The Beautiful Series. The first release in the series was Rainier. Wailua is the newest Web Special Run available by lottery to 2017 Collector’s Club members. He is the Legionario mold in a gorgeous glossy dapple grey. Wailua is limited to 350 pieces. Current Collector’s Club members may enter once a day from March 2nd until March 6th. Winners will be notified on March 7th. Make sure you are logged into your Breyer Collector’s Club account and you can see Wailua at this link.

Wailua costs $165 + shipping (presumably $20.50 which is how much shipping was for Rainier.)

The Second Web Special in the America the Beautiful Series

Beautiful Wailua captures the soft grey splash of the twin falls known as Wailua Falls on the island of Kauai, Hawaii. Wailua is also home to NouNou Mountains (also known as the Sleeping Giant) that divides the island, and the 20-mile long Wailua River. This striking Andalusian with soft dapples and dark points was inspired by the mists of this lush tropical paradise. His high gloss finish is a rare feature on the Legionario mold!
